We want to make the UK events industry more sustainable. We replace diesel generators and old sound systems with clean solar power and modern, efficient PA equipment and lighting. These are some of the events going green in 2018…

Radical Bakers Gathering – June 14th-17th 2018, Shropshire

Re-thinking the production and consumption of food. Radical Bakers Gathering is a chance to learn and share practical skills. A full programme of focused practical workshops on Smallholding, Urban Gardening, Permaculture, Wild Food and foraging, Pottery, Hands-on Herbalism, Kitchen Medicines and loads more – have a look at the Workshops page for an updated list of confirmed workshops.

We are a weekend camping event 14th-17th June 2018, with talks and discussions during the day and quality live music on the Green Dragon Solar Stage in the evenings. There will also be the Baker’s Arms, a good vege/vegan cafe with a fully catered ticket option, pop-up food, dance and art happenings, kids stuff and a Team Bake-off. Our beautiful site is at Crabapple community near Shrewsbury in Shropshire, one of the oldest housing co-ops in the country.

The Stage, PA systems and projectors for the workshop spaces as well as the kitchen and site lighting are solar powered and we are committed to recycling everything we can. Barefoot Festival

27th-30th July 2018, Prestwold Hall, Loughborough

Barefoot Festival is all about getting back to basics, getting grass in between your toes and taking time out from the pressures of modern life. Try something you’ve never done before, spend quality time with the family, meet like minded new friends. Relax, unwind and refresh yourself with a weekend in the beautiful great British countryside!

The Green Dragon solar stage will be hosting Burlesque and Dance workshops.

Roots Gathering

Roots Gathering is a fabulous event taking place on 18th-20th May 2018 at Hole Park near Rolvenden, Kent. It’s founders, Philip and Lynne Cowley Jones describes it as a:

‘micro festival…about coming back into right relationship with the land we live on and exploring the bones of our culture through arts and traditional crafts.’ There will be some fantastic workshops and talks on offer… ‘traditional crafts and arts like wood carving and clay sculpture, earth mandalas and bull roarer making.
We will also have talks on European mythology and folk traditions, drumming, meditation and camp fire performances and much much more!’
